Cashless notices in effect
November 17, 2020
BATA is going to start issuing follow-up violations for toll notices not paid after cash collection was stopped on the Bay Area's seven state-owned bridges. Beginning November 17, drivers will first get a reminder to pay their toll. They will have 30 days to pay, and then they will receive a 1st violation notice with no penalty. If they still do not pay their toll, they will receive a 2nd violation notice, still with no penalty. If they still do not pay their toll, they may have a hold put on their vehicle registration with the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
Tolls can be paid online at bayareafastrak.org or by using FasTrak’s automated phone service at 877-229-8655.
